About The Competition

The Oral Rounds of the 1st Judexis Moot Court Competition, 2025 [“the Competition”] will be held from the 14h to 15th June, 2025 via Virtual Mode.
The main aim of the competition is to promote commitment towards experimental learning and to facilitate students in cumulating immense knowledge. The Moot Court Competition develops coherent legal insight among students and is essential to develop practical skills.
The Competition shall consist of Preliminary Rounds, Quarter Finals Rounds, Semi-Finals Rounds, and Final Rounds.

Important Dates

Registrations Open: April 15, 2025

Moot Problem Release: April 15, 2025

Registrations Close: May 15, 2025

Allotment of Team Code: June 1, 2025

Written Memorial Deadline: June 4, 2025

Research Test: June 14, 2025.

Oral Rounds: June 14 & 15, 2025.

Eligibility

Students duly enrolled and pursuing full time 5 years or 3 years undergraduate law courses may apply to participate in the given competition. Students enrolled in post-graduation diploma or short-term certification courses are not eligible to apply.

Team Composition

The team composition of the given competition shall comprise of the following:

Minimum or only 2 speakers OR

2 speakers and 1 Researcher

Prizes and Rewards

Winner: Trophy +Rs 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) + Books + Certificate Course + Internship Opportunity + Certificate of Award.
Runner Up: Trophy +Rs 10,000/- (Thirteen Thousand Only) + + Books + Certificate Course + Internship Opportunity + Certificate of Award.
2nd Runner Up: Rs 5,000/- (Rupees Nine Thousand Only) + Certificate Course + Certificate of Award.
Best Speaker : Rs 5,000/-(Rs Five Thousand Only) + Best Speaker Certificate
Best Memorial: Rs 5,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) + Best Memorial Certificate
Best Researcher: Rs 5,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) + Best Researcher Certificate

Price

Registration Process

The last date of registration is May 15^th, 2025, by 11:59:59 PM. The teams must register online by May 15^th, 2025.
The Registration fees is ‘Rupees 4500/- Per Team’ only.
The registration shall be done by filling up the registration form: FORM

The registration shall be considered complete only when the Registration Fee has been paid successfully and google form is filed.
The participants will receive an official approval mail from the organising committee within 48 hours of their registration.
The organising committee shall communicate the Team Point of Contact (POC) for all the necessary communication.
Registration fee once paid is non-refundable.
